I visited my soon-to-be apartment buddies.
I got 3 shots (immunizations), and signed a lease.
I went to Target with a dear friend and enjoyed being a woman.
Then I drove back to DBU and went to an event called
"Mr. Big Cheif"
Yes, an event with such a name, I must attend.
Laughed the night away with new friends.
Got in my car to drive home.
These may seem like a "normal" fun day in the life of 19 year-olds.
But that drive home was a journey.
I wanted to be apart of something I was not, I wanted to stay were I did not live.
I wanted to call mine what wasen't. If you have ever been in traffic you know it can be a time of frustration, but not this time.

a time of pray, of waiting on the Lord.
God held my heart, turned it back to himself, and gave me words to pray.
I remain thankful for this portion,
this day, His timing.
this day, His timing.
